Explore the rich islands of Galápagos with Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic’s new brochure

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has launched its 2019/20 Galápagos brochure offering explorers diverse itineraries through the Galápagos, as well as explorations to Peru, Tropical Andes and Colonial Quito.

In line with the 60th anniversary of Galápagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Foundation, Lindblad Expeditions has been dedicating cruises to the magical archipelago for over 50 years, and guests can witness firsthand the importance of conservation on wildlife and flora in the region through their expert expedition team of naturalists. The Foundation was established on the centenary of Charles Darwin’s Origin of the Species.

Travellers voyaging on the October 4 and 11, 2019 Galápagos departures aboard National Geographic Endeavour II, will have the opportunity to travel with guest expert, Dr. Donald Johanson. One of the most accomplished scholars in the field of human origins, he is best known for his 1974 groundbreaking discovery of the 3.2 million-year-old skeleton known as Lucy.

The dedicated brochure details a myriad of encounters with animals found nowhere else but the Galápagos, as well as daily opportunities to explore a region rich in natural treasures. Guests will enjoy the full Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic Galápagos cruise experience with all the tools needed to enhance their adventure, such as a fleet of Zodiacs, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards – and an undersea specialist who captures stunning Cousteau-like video of life below the surface and shares with guests.

Through the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic Fund (LEX-NG Fund), Lindblad guests have donated more than $16 million as part of their Global Stewardship program, furthering its conservation, education and artisan projects with a focus on the world’s oceans, and the coastlines and communities of the places they explore.

To coincide with the launch of the new brochure, travellers can fly free to Galápagos on select departures through November 2019 when booked by 31, July 2019*.
