Contiki trips are all about feeling good on the road – but better than that, they also make sure we leave communities, wildlife & the planet feeling good too.
Help incubate endangered species: every visit to the Rainbow Springs Kiwi Encounter supports the crew there to grow another baby Kiwi hatchery – helping keep this (incredibly cute & oddball) endangered species alive.
Offset some carbon: When you visit Iceland, you can’t help but appreciate pristine nature. But you can also join the Haukadalur valley reforestation program and plant some trees, offsetting some of your carbon footprint too.
Help the oceans: On all Contiki trips, particularly on the iconic beaches of Australia, Contiki encourages its travellers to pick up 3 pieces of rubbish when they leave. Seemingly small actions can have a huge impact when we work together.
The Dhonk Centre is a cooperative that provides former poachers with alternative employment, and also preserves traditional artistry. There you can find beautiful handmade & hand-printed crafts – from throws to jackets. By keeping these communities in Ranthambore employed, poaching is no longer tempting and everybody wins.
