20% off popular G Adventures trips as travel ban lifts and 1,000th tour departs
With the news that international travel will finally be a reality for travel-starved Australians, G Adventures has plenty of inventory for those looking to book their long-awaited bucket list trip, and to celebrate the news, it is extending up to 20% off a wide range of its most popular Classic tours.
Later this month, G Adventures will also celebrate having run 1,000 tours safely and successfully since September 2020 – more tours than any other operator since the onset of the global pandemic – supporting employment and boosting the local economies in countries dependent on tourism such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco and Peru.
Sean Martin, Managing Director for G Adventures in Australia, says that while our country is just starting to open up to the rest of the world, G Adventures is already back running trips in more than 20 countries, and is experienced with all the new protocols required for travel as the world reopens.
“We’re seeing a real desire for people wanting to take once-in-a-lifetime bucket list adventures, so we’re delighted to be able to offer a healthy 20% discount on some of our favourite Classic tours to help people achieve their long-awaited travel goals. Australians are hungry to reconnect with the world, and we’re ready to help them achieve that,” says Martin.

This month G Adventures also started its Vaccinated Tours and Travel-Ready programs, an evolution of the Travel with Confidence policy which also remains in place. This policy was introduced in June, 2020, and saw the implementation of enhanced health, safety and physical distancing measures across all tours.
On Vaccinated Tours, all travellers and CEOs (chief experience officers) must have received a full COVID-19 vaccination with the final dose administered at least 14 days prior to day one of the tour. On Travel-Ready tours, all travellers and CEOs must have either received a full COVID-19 vaccination, or have a negative PCR test within 96 hours prior to day one of their tour’s departure. An icon will be featured next to each trip on the website to indicate which category of tour the departure falls under.
All trips booked benefit from G Adventures’ Book with Confidence policy, which lets travellers cancel or rebook their tour up to 14 days before their departure at no extra cost.
