The new 2023-2024 season focuses again on the places, stories and tastes of Australia. From the landscapes on the journey, to food and drink that immerses guests into the destination, stories from local people and the unexpected experiences on offer, AAT Kings invites guests to embark on a new adventure.

The wild, wide and wonderful sites of Australia and New Zealand are calling. AAT Kings’ new season offerings cement South Australia as the next hot domestic destination, with the launch of three new tours. The 4-day Outback Explorer includes a visit to Coober Pedy – it’s all lunar landscapes at the surface, and psychedelic colours underground. The 5-day Adelaide to Kangaroo Island tour explores Kangaroo Island’s rugged coastline, home to geological wonders aplenty, while its interior is a mecca for innovative purveyors making beer and cider. Eyre Peninsula is like nature amplified, both on land and in the water, which travellers experience on the 7-day South Australian Eyre Peninsula.

Further afield in domestic and trans-Tasman travel, there are still an unlimited number of offerings to explore. Feast your eyes on the sheer size of Uluru, view Cradle Mountain in the still reflection of Dove Lake or wander through palm-lined walkways to secluded emerald thermal pools at Mataranka. Cruise Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, explore Quilpie countryside with the locals, sleep in a restored shearers’ quarters and be charmed by small towns like Penguin.

“Our new 2023/2024 season showcases the best Australia and New Zealand has to offer and has a real emphasis on South Australia, as an in-demand destination, rich in breathtaking landscapes, natural wonders and one-of-a-kind experiences,” said AAT Kings CEO Ben Hall.
