V1914 and V1917

Departing in June and July, 2019, Silver Cloud offers two 14 day voyages brushing the pristine Icelandic and Norwegian coastline between Reykjavik and Tromsø. Guests will experience the spectacular waterfalls of Dynjandi; the local historical sites of Vigur Island, home to Iceland’s only windmill; and the breathtaking fjords and glaciers of the Southern Svalbard region. Home to an abundance of wildlife, guests will also encounter local populations of puffins and Guillemots; humpback and minke whales; and enjoy well sought-after walrus and polar bear sightings, before arriving in Tromsø – the perfect destination to witness the world-famous Northern Lights.

V1915 and V1916

Sailing between Tromsø and Longyeabyen, Silver Cloud offers two 10 day voyage of exploration and breathtaking discovery. From the Northern Lights, to the local flora and fauna, the two voyages have it all and more. Slipping through icy arctic waters, guests will discover the almost 100-strong islands of the Gjesvarstappan Archipelago, home to one of the largest puffin colonies in Northern Norway; the famed globe monument in Skarsvag; and Bear Island, home to one of the biggest bird colonies in the Northern Hemisphere. Guests can expect sightings of puffins, black legged kittiwakes and other native seabirds along with seals. Hikes ashore with Silversea’s dedicated expedition team are a must-do to take in the great white expanse of the “Arctic Desert”.
