Cunard winter 2022 luxury cruises offer unparalleled choice to explore the globe in style

Luxury cruise line Cunard is excited to announce its Winter 2022 and Alaska 2021 collection of voyages, which will allow guests to explore even more inspirational destinations on board the famous Cunard fleet. With the three Queens each sailing to world renowned locations; calling at 93 ports in 42 countries with 14 overnight stays.

Flagship Queen Mary 2 will escape the cold in early 2022, sailing on a grand Caribbean and South American adventure; with options to depart from Hamburg, Southampton or New York. The voyage will commence with the most iconic of voyages, transatlantic Crossing, before following the sun, taking in the Eastern Caribbean, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Queen Mary 2 then retraces the route of famous explorers, rounding Cape Horn before returning to New York via Rio de Janeiro –in time for the world famous Rio Carnival.

Queen Victoria continues Cunard’s world cruising tradition with an exciting full circumnavigation of the globe in 2022. Offering 25 itineraries that span from two to the complete voyage at 112 nights, the itinerary takes in internationally renowned locations such as Samoa, Hawaii, New Zealand, Singapore and New Guinea. Overnight stays in San Francisco, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore and Cape Town offer guests the perfect opportunity to explore these ‘must see’ cities, while the ship will also complete a scenic daytime passage of the Panama Canal.

Queen Elizabeth’s newly released itineraries build on Cunard’s highly successful return to Alaska, with the introduction of an extended season in the Last Frontier from June to September 2021. Voyages, that all depart from Vancouver, offer stunning scenic cruising in the UNESCO world heritage site of Glacier Bay National Park and the waterways of the famous Inside Passage.

Queen Elizabeth returns to her ‘second home’ Australia for a season that spans November 2021 to March 2022. In another first for Cunard, a unique South Pacific itinerary will call at Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.

From April to June 2022 the ship will offer a series of engaging Japanese itineraries offering guests a chance to explore the deep cultural roots of Japan’s main islands of Honshu, Kyushu and Hokkaido, while southern voyages take in the Okinawa archipelago as well as two Taiwanese port calls.

“Cunard’s extensive experience in luxury cruising has allowed us to expertly craft a series of voyages that will excite, enrich and engage our guests,” said Simon Palethorpe, President, Cunard.

He added: “Cunard’s newly announced 2021 and 2022 voyages take in some of the most breathtaking scenery on the planet, and call at the world’s most famous destinations, that we’re sure will have our guests talking about their experiences for years to come. Whether guests choose to do a two-night cruise, a traditional Transatlantic Crossing or a full circumnavigation of the globe, each voyage comes with Cunard’s signature luxury White Star Service and style, honed over almost 180 years.”
