Five-star, three-month circumnavigation of Africa with Seabourn

Longer voyages on smaller ships to more remote and exotic destinations are now more popular than ever, so to meet the growing demand Australian boutique ship specialist, Cruise Traveller, is offering a special, ultra-luxe, three-month cruise package that features a rare circumnavigation of Africa as well as complimentary Business Class flights from Australia for bookings made by 31 July 2023.

The new, ultra-luxurious ‘Grand Africa’ package begins in style on 28 November 2024, with a private car transfer to the airport, a free Business Class flight to Barcelona from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth, a free night’s stay in Barcelona and a grand, bon voyage dinner at historic castle near Barcelona.

Guests then board the plush and elegant 458-guest Seabourn Sojourn in Barcelona for an epic and indulgent, 90-night, round-trip circumnavigation of Africa that visits 19 countries on the continent as well as ports in the Mediterranean and exotic islands in the Indian Ocean.

The spacious and elegant Seabourn Sojourn boasts sleek teak decks, deluxe bars and lounges, European-style cafes, fine dining restaurants, pools and jacuzzis, wellness centre and show theatre. Pampered guests also enjoy complimentary beverages onboard as well as luxury bathroom products including an exclusive signature scent created for Seabourn by Molten Brown London.

From Barcelona, the voyage will head east to Tunisia, Malta, the Holy Land and Egypt before traversing the Suez Canal bound for Oman, the tropical Seychelles and the wildlife kingdoms of Kenya and Tanzania. The itinerary then takes in Mozambique, Madagascar and five ports in South Africa where a grand event for guests will be held shoreside in Cape Town.

Rounding the Cape of Good Hope, Seabourn Sojourn will then head north up Africa’s west coast, visiting countries few Australians have visited including Namibia, Angola, Benin, Toga, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Gambia and Senegal as well as the Canary Islands and Cape Verde Islands. Morocco and Algeria are the final two African nations visited before the voyage ends back in Barcelona for free Business Class flights back to Australia and private car transfers home.
