Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ unique, three-month circumnavigation of Africa package

With longer voyages to more remote and exotic destinations now more popular than ever, Cruise Traveller, is offering a special, 95-night package centred on an epic and rarely offered circumnavigation of Africa featuring far-flung ports seldom visited by Australians.
Also starring idyllic tropical islands in the Indian Ocean, the grand journey in November, 2023, is with boutique British cruise line, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, whose smaller and more intimate ships showcase traditional seafaring heritage and the calming pleasures of classic cruising.

This special package offers savings of A$3,460 per couple, a free pre-cruise stay in London with a complimentary tour of the city or the surrounds, plus bonus onboard spending money if its unique ‘Grand Africa and Indian Ocean’ package is booked by 30 November 2022.

The 95-night holiday package starts in London on 17 November 2023, with two free nights in a deluxe hotel and a complimentary choice of a day tour.  There’s also a free transfer to Southampton to board Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ stylish, 1338-guest flagship, Bolette, for a three-month-plus voyage completely circling Africa and exploring remote destinations in the Indian and Atlantic oceans.

Able to access smaller ports bigger ships cannot reach, Bolette will take intrepid sea lovers to 43 ports in 24 countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Maldives, Seychelles, Kenya, Madagascar, Reunion Island, Mayotte, Mozambique and South Africa, with plenty of opportunities to see Africa’s famous wildlife.

Bolette will then trace a route along Africa’s rare-in-itineraries west coast, with visits to Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Benin, Ghana, Senegal, Canary Islands and then Portugal before the cruise ends back in the UK on 20 February 2024. During the voyage, Christmas Day will be spent at sea in the Indian Ocean with traditional festivities and a New Year’s Eve party will celebrate the start of 2024 off the shores of Tanzania.
