 Norwegian Jade’s 18-day Mediterranean cruise to Greece, Egypt, Jordan and Israel from Dubai to Athens departs 13 February 2023. This incredible journey visits 11 ports that take in the jewels of the Middle East and the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, combining plenty of time to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the extensive activities on board, with meaningful experiences ashore in a mix of well-known and off-the-beaten track ports.

After departing Dubai, experience the striking blend of traditional Arab culture and modern architecture in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where travellers can go from meandering ancient souks to riding the world’s fastest rollercoaster to traversing the world’s tallest sand dunes on an exhilarating off-road adventure. For an entirely different Middle Eastern experience, the voyage then calls on Fujairah –  a hidden gem home to unspoiled beaches, palm trees and delectable fresh seafood, before visiting Salalah, Oman – known for charming streets, lively souks and the home of Job’s Tomb.

The water sports hub of Aqaba, Jordan, is the ideal spot to soak up the resort vibe while exploring the coral reefs of the Red Sea or uncover ancient history with a visit to the magnificent ancient city of Petra, one of the World’s Seven Wonders.

During an extended overnight stay in Safaga, Egypt, guests can discover ancient temples and pharaohs’ tombs in the mysterious Valley of the Kings, relax with a book on the black-sand beaches, dive submerged shipwrecks or take a trip to witness the spectacular statues and temples in Luxor.

One of the highlights of this sailing is the chance to traverse a true modern marvel of engineering, the Suez Canal, before going on to spend two days in the Israeli ports of Ashdod and Haifa. Unforgettable experiences include the cascading terraces of Haifa’s Baha’i Gardens and visits to some of the most famous sacred sites in religious history, including where Jesus is said to have preached and performed miracles in Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, as well as time to browse colourful bazaars, chic boutiques and sample local street food.
