New Travelmarvel Kimberley & Outback Queensland by 4WD journeys

Travelmarvel has released its all-new Kimberley & Outback Queensland by 4WD 2023 holiday program with earlybird offers of up to *$1,000 per couple, valid until 31 August 2022 or until sold out. The launch includes a comprehensive range of small group 4WD journeys to remote locations in Travelmarvel’s custom designed 4WD vehicles accompanied by an expert driver-guide.

Travelmarvel’s 4WD journeys cater to a maximum of just 20 guests, providing a more personalised experience.​ Comfortable and convenient, the custom- built vehicles feature large, tinted windows for panoramic views, reclining seats, air-conditioning, protective bull bars for added safety and infotainment systems.

The program features five itineraries, ranging from seven to 12 days in length, with the option to extend the tour with pre and post accommodation at Oaks Broome.

The key tour is the new 12-day Wonders of the Kimberley by 4WD, priced from $6,995 per person twin share, inclusive of a $1,000 per couple saving for early bookings. The journey includes a cruise along the Fitzroy River through Geikie Gorge, a hike to the tiered Mitchell Falls with a swim in the refreshing natural pools above the falls and a walk to Emma Gorge, a spectacular oasis where you can take a refreshing dip beneath the gorge’s tumbling waterfall. The trip also includes stays at the Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodges and a visit to the ancient Wandjina and Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw) rock art at the Mitchell Plateau.

Kimberley Icons by 4WD is a 9-day tour priced from $5,695 per person twin share (also with a $400 per couple saving for early bookings). Discover the best of the remote Kimberley. Highlights include an immersion of the incredible natural acoustics of Purnululu National Park’s Cathedral Gorge and a hike to Emma Gorge and the Mitchell Falls with a refreshing swim near the waterfalls in both locations.

The third Kimberley tour is the 9-day Kimberley Adventure by 4WD including Emma Gorge, Purnululu National Park, Geikie Gorge and Windjana Gorge. Stay at Drysdale River Station as well as famous El Questro station. Priced from $5,595 per person including a $400 per couple saving for early bookings.

On the other side of the country in Queensland, spend a week exploring the lush north Queensland rainforest on a 7-day Cape York and Tropical North by 4WD tour. This journey takes guests along the iconic Bloomfield Track and to the tip of Cape York, the northernmost place on the Australian mainland. Highlights include a visit Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park, a guided tour through Quinkan Country including a visit to Split Rock and a ferry ride to Thursday Island to discover the WWII history and trading importance of this fascinating location. This trip cost is from $4,395 per person twin share and a saving of up to $400 per couple for early bookings.

Returning for a 2023 season is the Gulf Savannah Discovery by 4WD journey. This 8-day small group 4WD tour costs $3,995 per person twin share and a saving of up to $400 per couple for early bookings. The journey includes a sunset dinner cruise in Karumba and an Archway Explorer tour through the mysterious Undara Lava Tubes. Other highlights include a boat cruise and tour of the rugged Cobbold Gorge and a visit to the unique Talaroo Hot Springs.
