New zero deposit offer on 2023 American river paddlewheeler adventures

To help meet pent up demand for cruising in years ahead, the American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) is offering Australians savings of up to US$2000 per couple on a range of newly released 2023 river cruises as well as a new zero deposit offer for bookings made by October 31, 2021.The offers on AQSC’s famous paddlewheeler river adventures in America, which recently resumed operation across the US, are available through AQSC’s Australian representative and small ship specialist, Cruise Traveller.

The zero deposit offer means Australians can book now, free of financial pressure, on any 2023 AQSC departure and pay no deposit until January 31, 2022, and also benefit from earlybird savings now available for 2023.

To add to the value, all cruises will feature a host of complimentary inclusions such as hop-on-hop-off shore excursions, unlimited onboard beverages, unlimited Wi-Fi, a pre-cruise hotel stay, hotel-ship transfers and prepaid gratuities.    The 2023 program for AQSC features 169 cruises on five of America’s most iconic rivers – The Mississippi, Ohio River, Tennessee River, Snake River and Columbia River. The 2023 season will also feature AQSC’s new, 245-passenger paddlewheeler, the American Countess, which debuted this year. She will join American Queen, American Duchess and American Empress to treat guests with an authentic, elegant and modern American river cruise experience.

A range of themed cruises are also planned for 2023 including departures focusing on the Kentucky Derby, local cuisine, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve and the music that river towns like Memphis, New Orleans and Nashville gave birth to such as the blues, jazz, rock’n’roll and country music.

The 2023 program includes a popular seven-night river journey on the Mississippi River from New Orleans to Memphis. Reflecting the colourful history, culture, music, Southern drawls and warm hospitality of the South, the voyage brings to life the scenery and textured river life made famous by author, Mark Twain in books like ‘Huckleberry Finn’. Destinations visited on the cruise include the gracious antebellum sugarcane estate at Nottoway, the enchanting plantation colonial homes at St Francisville, the historic river port of Natchez, Civil War sites at Vicksburg and the quaint river town of Greenville.

The American Queen Steamboat Company is offering an eight-night cruise and stay package, with multiple departures available from New Orleans in 2023. The package includes one night’s accommodation pre-cruise in New Orleans, the seven-night cruise, all onboard meals, onboard beverages, complimentary hop-on-hop-off shore excursions and onboard Wi-Fi and gratuities. The package in 2023 is available from US$1635 per person, twin-share (March 6, 2023 departure aboard American Countess) in an interior cabin – a saving of US$1000 per person, while an open veranda cabin for a solo traveller has been discounted to US$2135 – also a saving of US$1000.

Plus pay no deposit until January 31, 2022.  The savings and zero deposit offer are valid for bookings made by October 31, 2021.
