Save 20% on Ecuadorian Amazon river cruises

Expedition Cruise Specialists is offering earlybird discounts of 20% on all 2021 Ecuadorian Amazon river cruises aboard the luxury 36-passenger river ship Anakonda.

Departing from the Ecuadorian capital Quito each Sunday, the seven-night itinerary explores the pristine Yasuni National Park. Although it makes up just two per cent of the entire Amazon basin, this UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve contains over 200 species of butterflies, 596 species of birds, 150 species of amphibians, 121 species of reptiles, and 200 species of mammals.

Highlights of the voyage include nocturnal rainforest walks in the company of accredited naturalist guides, wildlife observation, kayaking and canoeing, visits to indigenous communities and exploration of the Pañacocha Bilogical Corridor.

According to Expedition Cruise Specialists’ General Manager Andrew Castles, the Anakonda is the ideal river ship to discover this rarely-visited region of the Amazon. “All 18 suites are river facing, with French balconies allowing the sounds of the river to fill your suite’ he said. “There’s also a multitude of memorable excursions on offer to get up close with the best of the Amazon’s wildlife, including pink river dolphins, manatees, anacondas and a range of primates”.

Discounted cruise prices start at USD $4,495 per person (saving USD $2,054 per couple), including return flights from Quito to the port of Coca and seven nights cruising the Amazon in a Standard Suite. The savings are available on new bookings made before 30 March 2020, across all 2021 departures.
