Save on an all-inclusive Glaciers and Geishas fly, cruise and stay package

Two of the most popular cruise drawcards for Australians – Alaska and Japan – have been combined by small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, to create an ultra-luxe fly, cruise and stay package in September 2023 showcasing the spectacular and exotic appeal of both destinations.

Cruise Traveller’s exclusive and all-inclusive, 24-night ‘Glaciers and Geishas’ package with Regent Seven Seas Cruises® offers savings of A$4400 per couple for bookings made by 30 June 2022. Flights, five nights’ hotel accommodation, shore excursions, onboard beverages and in-suite mini bar, speciality restaurant dining, gratuities and even a welcome aboard bottle of champagne are included in the special package.

The ‘Glaciers and Geishas’ package begins with a flight from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne to Vancouver on 18 September 2023, and a two-night stay in the beautiful harbour city, with two tours also included, embracing city sights and the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain in the lush hinterland.

Guests then board the luxurious, 732-guest Seven Seas Explorer® for a memorable 19-night cruise through Alaska and on to Japan.  Seven Seas Explorer features elegant, spacious suites, with every suite boasting a private balcony – a rarity on cruise ships; opulent lounges, extravagantly-designed theatres, five specialty restaurants, pool, library and spa.

Alaskan destinations on the voyage include the salmon town of Ketchikan, the native Tlinglit hamlet of Icy Strait Point with its carved totem poles and forests rich with black bears, the pretty harbour village of Seward, the wilderness sanctuary of Dutch Harbor and the island community of Kodiak with its pristine forest and famous giant brown bears.

After four leisurely days at sea, guests can visit the wildlife sanctuaries near Kushiro in Japan. The Japanese hot springs of Hakodate and the shrines and temples of Sendai are next before Seven Seas Explorer arrives in Tokyo, ending the voyage. A three-night stay in the bustling neon city of Tokyo follows the cruise with tours of the city’s elaborate temples and palaces, ornamental gardens and famous Giza precinct included. A flight from Tokyo back to Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne ends the holiday. Transfers to other Australian cities can be arranged.

Including return flights, five nights’ hotel accommodation with sightseeing and the 19-night cruise with included shore excursions, onboard beverages and speciality restaurant dining, fares for the 24-night ‘Glaciers and Geishas’ package are available from A$19,995 per person, twin-share, in a Deluxe Veranda Suite – a saving of A$2200 per person if booked by 30 June 30, 2022. Conditions apply.
