Award winning Australian expedition operator, Aurora Expeditions, will launch its first-ever full season of Australian expeditions this year and to celebrate, Australia’s leading small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, has released two exclusive stay and sail packages that will help guests discover the hidden gems of southern Australia.
Savings of $7880 per couple are available for bookings made by May 30, 2021, on Cruise Traveller’s two luxury packages.
With 23 years of experience operating voyages in Australia, Aurora Expeditions’ first full season will feature a range of immersive, adventurous and off-the-beaten-track voyages around Australia from July, 2021, to March, 2022, aboard the purpose-built expedition ship, Greg Mortimer. The ship was launched in 2019 and named after the renowned Australian mountaineer and explorer who founded the company in 1991.
Carrying an average of just 132 guests, the Greg Mortimer is the world’s first passenger ship to feature the revolutionary ULSTEIN X-BOW® which enhances stability and reduces environmental impact. It is the first time an X-BOW® ship will sail in Australian waters. The ship also offers sea-level Zodiac launching platforms, two jacuzzis on the outside top deck, expansive observation decks, lounges, gym, wellness centre and 79 cabins – all with an ocean view and 80% boasting a private balcony.
