Snap up a Bunnik small group tour to the Top End before they sell out!

Following the great success of their first three Australian domestic tours, Bunnik Tours are adding yet another exciting destination to their list – the Northern Territory’s Top End!

This in depth, 10 day Top End Discovery begins in the tropical capital of Darwin, where you’ll get acquainted with the city on a walking tour, including the luscious George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, before a visit to the fascinating Museum & Art Gallery of Northern Territory.

Travelling inland to Kakadu, you’ll cruise the tranquil waters of the East Alligator River, lead by a local Aboriginal guide offering insight into the river’s cultural importance, abundant food chain and bush survival skills. Then, see these skills in action, as you witness a fascinating hunting demonstration. The excitement continues as you’re transported back in time and uncover the World Heritage-listed Aboriginal Rock Art of Ubirr. Depicting stories of human interaction with their environment, you’ll be in awe of this culturally significant site. Trek the scenic bushlands to Nadab Lookout and be rewarded by the stunning vista over the expansive Arnhem Land, as the sun slowly sets. This small group tour will also include some of Kakadu’s most picturesque falls, from Maguk Gorge and Barrkmarlam (Jim Jim Falls), to Gungkurdal (Twin Falls) and Leliyn (Edith Falls). Your 3 night stay in Kakadu ends with a sunset cruise of the mystical Ngurrungurrudjba (Yellow Water) Billabong.

Katherine and Nitmiluk National Park is your next incredible destination, and there’s no better way to explore the renowned Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) than on a relaxing, guided Three Gorge cruise. Drifting through the channels, you’ll gain a holistic understanding of the rich history of this area, its varied wildlife, remarkable Aboriginal Rock Art dating back eight to ten thousand years, all culminating in a leisurely swim at the final gorge.

You will unearth the highlights that make Litchfield National Park a must-do on any Top End experience. Take in some of the regions most beautiful wilderness, including Karrimurra (Florence), Tolmer and Wangi Falls and the Buley Rockhole, and be mesmerised by the sheer size of the intriguing Magnetic Termite Mounds. Concluding this fantastic tour in Darwin, you’ll farewell this truly special Australian territory from the heights of the East Point Lookout, before enjoying a group dinner to reminisce on the wonders you have witnessed.

If this sounds like just the adventure you’ve been waiting for, get snappy as these limited departures are selling out. Travelling on specialised 24-seat 4WD touring vehicles, you’ll have plenty of space to spread out and gain awesome views. And with a maximum group size of just 16 fellow travellers, you will be able to capture the true essence of this unique region. This 10 day Top End Discovery tour is priced from just $5,295 per person, twin share.

Bunnik Tours’ group sizes are never more than 20 passengers with all sightseeing, accommodation and many meals included in the price.
