After being suspended for nearly a year due to COVID-19, Sydney Fish Market’s renowned Behind the Scenes tours are set to return on Tuesday 6th April, just in time for the school holidays!
The flagship tours allow you to explore the aspects of Sydney Fish Market that regular customers don’t see, including: the history of Sydney Fish Market, the Dutch auction and buying system, touring the auction floor (viewing over 100 species), witnessing Oyster shucking, and touring our specialist seafood retailers to view sashimi, live product and more.

TOUR INFORMATION
When: Tours will be held every weekday from Tuesday 6th April onwards (except public holidays and between Christmas and New Year). Tours begin at 6.40am sharp and will end around 8:30am, so you can catch all the early morning action.
Cost: $50 for adults, $20 for children (ages 10 – 13). Parking at Sydney Fish Market is included. Please bring your parking ticket with you to be validated. In the interest of safety, the minimum age of tour participants is 10 years of age.
Safety: Tour size has been reduced to 6 people per tour, due to COVID-19 precautions. All tour participants will be required to wear a mask while on the Auction Floor. Social distancing will be enforced throughout the tour.
