To celebrate the launch of the all-new Toyota Kluger, Toyota has partnered with Mitchelton Airstream Hotel, in Nagambie, Victoria to create a magical and unique “Grown Up Getaway Package” for parents to enjoy some well-deserved “me time” for a limited time only between 20 August and 5 October*. The package comes at the perfect time, with no doubt that Melburnians are in need of some ‘me time’ away to look forward to and forget about being in and out of lockdown for most of the past 12 months!
The package is inspired by a recent survey by GLOW commissioned by Toyota Australia that revealed a staggering 82% of Aussie parents take less than 4 hours of “me time” a week. The survey also revealed that the top 5 “me time” activities parents missed the most since becoming a parent were: taking spontaneous “me time”, having a fun night out with friends, watching non-kids’ content, taking a long bath and eating a delicious meal alone.
While parents would love to dedicate more time to themselves to recharge, the survey discovered that over 60% of parents struggle to take “me time” because they feel guilty not spending time with their children.
However, Aussie parents need not feel the guilt when dreaming of taking that well-earned “me time” as 86% of kids welcome their parents to take it, with 85% of those kids believing their parents would benefit from it and be a lot happier!
By parents valuing time to themselves more often and leading from the front, children can learn the importance of independence.
The package transforms the trending Mitchelton’s Airstream Hotel into a magical glamping site with unique “me time moments” sprinkled throughout the stay, all inspired by the survey results.
Grown Up Getaway Experience
- 2pm: Check in at Mitchelton’s Airstream Hotel and enjoy a bottle of award-winning Estate wine amongst the vineyard
- 3pm: Explore Mitchelton on a guided tour of the winery, the Estate’s iconic Tower, cellar and Indigenous art gallery
- 5 – 6pm: Sip on a selection of Mitchelton wines and warming mulled wine during Happy Hour
- 7pm: Experience fresh local produce during a two-course dinner for two and a glass of Cuvvee on arrival at The Muse restaurant with its modern farmhouse cuisine. Your menu of locally sourced Victorian produce will be cooked over Goulburn River red gum and different fruit woods from Mitchelton Estate.
- 9pm: Soak up the night sky snuggled around a warm campfire enjoying dessert outside the Mitchelton Airstream Hotel. Dessert includes choccy biccy s’mores, lemon marshmallow pie, marshmallow dippers and more with the Mitchelton Airstream Hotel marshmallow camper hamper.
Following day
- 8am: Wake up to a delicious breakfast hamper that includes Dalhousie farm free range eggs, Taurus smokehouse triple smoked bacon, Higgins Bakery bread, Tatura butter and artisan preserves, Gippsland Dairy yoghurt, winter berries and Nagambie honey toasted granola.
- 9am: For bookings during the weekends only, start the day feeling zen and make use of the Mitchelton branded mat delivered to the door by taking part in a yoga session (offer only available on Saturdays and Sundays).
