A bold new Voyager of the Seas is set to sail into Sydney Harbour tomorrow morning at 6:00am, bringing amped up adventure to Australia’s cruise capital this Summer.
To celebrate the ship’s homecoming, water cannons will greet Royal’s first amplified ship for the region, when she sails into Circular Quay. Once docked, Royal Caribbean will welcome onboard two Ninja Warriors, Josh O’Sullivan and Bryson Klein to take on the thrills Voyager brings to the Australian market. Racing down The Perfect Storm’s 15 metre heights and taking on Voyager’s two towering rock-climbing walls, the Warriors will compete to see who can ring the bell first.
Royal Caribbean is known for bringing the biggest, boldest and most innovative ships to the Australian market, and Voyager of the Seas is no exception. Her incredible amplification took 41 days and involved more than 2,200 crew and tradespeople to bring a fresh new look and first-to-market features onboard. All that hard work paid off with new experiences and amenities onboard, including the newly enhanced Royal Caribbean International mobile app that lets that lets guests check in and choose their next onboard adventure in seconds, and so much more!
Voyager is the fourth ship reimagined as part of the Royal Amplified fleet modernisation inspired by extensive research and guest feedback. She sports a fresh new look inside and out, with a new Quantum Blue hull repainted at an Australian cruiser’s suggestion.
The amplified ship offers a range of first-to-market features for Australian cruisers to get excited about, from The Perfect Storm racer slides to the reinvigorated Vitality Spa and redesigned kids and teens spaces to glow-in-the-dark Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z, Voyager will tout a thrilling combination of experiences that make for an unforgettable family holiday.
