The Sydney Opera House has launched a brand new late-night tour called The House After Dark, which will reveal chilling ghost stories, spooky secrets and mysterious occurrences that linger in the Opera House’s halls. It is the first time a tour is taking place inside the House when all performers, patrons and staff have gone home.
The 90-minute tour will begin with drinks and dessert in the Opera House’s brand-new tours venue – fitted out with state-of-the-art technology, 270-degree visuals and surround sound – before guests explore hidden tunnels and passageways where spirits are said to linger. The exclusive experience will take place over just six weeks on select Friday and Saturday nights only, from 22 Jan – 27 Mar 2021. Key details of the tour are below.
